when my family moved into our home, we found a large pile of fake eyelashes in one of the closets. there were faces drawn into the wood in the side of the staircase, and they used the knots of the wood for the eyes.
there was also a book listing everybody who had lived there before, with a page about a man who lived there in the early 1900s who jumped out of the top story window to his death during a party, and another about somebody who had died in the basement. every time I go back to that house I feel a shiver. there were many times where i experienced something falling over or moving, without a gust of wind or anything.
with the back and front doors open, the whole house would act as a whistle for the wind, creating a ghostly opera. i wonder if the ghosts enjoyed that sound...

Driving home tonight, I noticed this strange light in the sky—WAY too bright to be a plane or a star. It hovered, darted side to side, then shot straight up and disappeared. No sound, no explanation.
I pulled over, heart racing, and just stared. Am I losing it, or did anyone else see this?? Please tell me someone in New Jersey looked up tonight and saw that crazy light.

Then, without a sound, they stood and walked straight through the closed doors at the end of the car, vanishing into the tunnel. I sat there, stunned, unsure if anyone else had seen it—or if it was all in my head.

I was driving back from a late shift at work, taking the winding back roads to avoid the main highway. The hum of the engine and the static on the radio were my only companions when suddenly, everything went silent. The radio cut out, and the headlights dimmed to a faint glow. My car rolled to a stop as if it had given up the will to go on. Then, I saw it. Hovering silently above the field to my right was a massive, triangular craft, its edges outlined by pulsating neon-blue lights. It was otherworldly, a perfect blend of advanced technology and something deeply incomprehensible. Before I could even reach for my phone, a beam of light shot down from its center, enveloping the car in a blinding, yet oddly warm, glow. The sensation was unlike anything I’d ever felt—weightlessness and a deep sense of calm, as though the universe itself was cradling me.
The next thing I remember, I was lying on a metallic table in a room bathed in soft, purple light. Surrounding me were beings unlike anything I could have imagined—tall, slender figures with smooth, pale-gray skin and large, almond-shaped eyes that seemed to peer straight into my soul. They didn’t speak, at least not verbally, but I felt their thoughts pressing into my mind like a gentle wave. They were curious, almost childlike in their study of me, yet there was an undeniable intelligence and purpose to their actions. I can’t recall how much time passed, but when I woke up, I was back in my car, parked neatly at the side of the road as though nothing had happened. My watch was broken, my phone dead, and yet the night felt... different.
The stars seemed brighter, closer, and the air carried a strange, electric hum. Though I drove home in stunned silence, I couldn't shake the feeling that I’d been touched by something beyond comprehension, and that a part of me would never truly return to Earth.
